  • The sapwood is creamy white, often interspersed with streaks or dark longitudinal lines; the heartwood ranges from light yellow to olive green with a grayish tone, featuring faint longitudinal lines. When the olive green heartwood is exposed to sunlight and ultraviolet rays, it darkens and turns brown. The distinction between heartwood and sapwood is clear, and the presence of burl patterns and swirls are common characteristics of Rainbow Poplar wood.

Widely distributed throughout various states in the Eastern United States, Rainbow Poplar accounts for 9% of the hardwood forest resources in North America. Its abundant supply and refreshing natural color variations, including the vibrant streaks unique to Rainbow Poplar, have captured the attention of designers and architects.

  • Rainbow Poplar Specifications
  • Boxwood is easy to dry, with minimal performance variation and excellent surface treatment capability. It is less prone to cracking during processing and has a lighter wood color, making it suitable for producing wooden products in different colors.

In addition to the commonly seen yellow-green hue of boxwood, specially selected color variations ranging from light to dark are available for designers. These variations can be pieced together to create a unique Chinese landscape painting effect, enhanced further after oil coating to exhibit different aesthetic qualities. They can be applied in indoor decoration for decorative TV walls, headboards, tabletops, etc., adding richness and uniqueness to the design.

    Interior Decoration and Furniture
The clean and uniform tone and grain of boxwood make it an ideal choice for interior decoration and solid wood furniture. It is commonly used in the production of solid wood furniture (such as cabinets, tables, chairs), indoor flooring, solid wood stairs, door and window frames, etc.

    Construction and Carpentry
Due to its high stability and strength, boxwood is widely used in construction and carpentry projects. It can be used to manufacture structural materials, roof beams, floor beams, columns, and wooden frames.

    Craftsmanship and Carving
Boxwood is easy to process and refine, with excellent texture and quality, making it an ideal material for crafting and carving. It is commonly used to make sculptures, statues, crafts, and delicate decorations.
