  • Mukulungu Decking Characteristic
  • Mukulungu Decking Specification
  • Imported as kiln-dried lumber, Mukulungu Decking is directly kiln-dried and planed to achieve a moisture content of 12~15%, ensuring high product stability and a smooth surface texture after planing. Custom-made Mukulungu Decking products undergo processing, drying, and planing. Due to the inherent moisture content of the raw logs, the drying time needs to be estimated, resulting in a longer preparation time for Mukulungu Decking. If drying is not considered, the planed surface may become rough or fuzzy.

African Padauk wood, often used in Mukulungu Decking, mainly grows in regions such as Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, and Equatorial Guinea. The wood grain is straight with no distinct patterns, featuring a fine and dense structure, high strength, and excellent toughness, making Mukulungu Decking resistant to breaking. It is highly resistant to decay and acidic conditions. Mukulungu Decking exhibits a unique gloss after planing, enhancing its appeal for premium outdoor and indoor flooring solutions.
